Dr Mustapha Shehu Muhammad
Mustapha Shehu Muhammad is a Neuroscientist and Science Communicator with about ten years’ experience both in teaching, research and science communication. He works in the Department of Human Physiology, Gombe State University, Nigeria and has presented and published scientific papers both locally and internationally. He is the current Nigerian Outreach Coordinator for TReND in Africa (www.TReNDinAfrica.org) and Science Communication Hub Nigeria (www.scicomnigeria.org). Together with colleagues, they have organized a lot of outreach programmes, public engagements and teachers training workshops. He was a facilitator at the Wellcome Trust funded science communication training in Nigeria that led to the launch of the African Science Literacy Network (ASLN). Mustapha is a core member of the ASLN team and provides inputs on grants and university partnerships.
