Khadijat Abubakar Bobbo is an academic with the Department of Human Anatomy, Gombe State University since 2010. Khadijat holds a Bachelors’ degree from the University of Maiduguri, Master’s Degree from University of Dundee (Scotland-UK) and is currently pursuing her PhD with the University Putra Malaysia where she is specialising in Genetics. Her research focuses on cancer.
Khadijat volunteer’s with the Jewel Environmental Initiative, an NGO that aims to reduce erosion and desertification in the North eastern Nigeria. She is a member of TReND in Africa, involved with the Outreach branch through which she has organised outreach activities in Borno and Gombe states. Khadija has attended many local and international meetings and workshops and published her work in peer-reviewed journals.
