Fathiyya Auwal Abba

Fathiyya Auwal Abba is a reporter with the prestigious Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), a Nigerian government-owned broadcaster, widely viewed as the authentic voice of the Nigerian government. She was inducted as a fellow of the African Science Literacy Network (ASLN) in 2019. In 2018, She also attended a one-day workshop organised by the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) at Gombe, Nigeria on how to cover election reports. Many of her reports have been featured on the NTA, including the use of social media by the youths, the proper way of eating and cooking, and an awareness report on advancements in science and technology.
