Macdonald Ighodaro

O.M. Ighodaro is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry. His B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD degrees are all in the field of Biochemistry. He is an astute Lecturer and Researcher at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Basic Medical and Applied Sciences, Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria. He has an intense passion for presenting Biochemistry as an exciting and easy course for anyone to follow. His research interest is `Toxicology, Phytomedicine & Drug Discovery/Development`. He is a lead, and the corresponding author of several peer-reviewed articles, published in journals indexed in high profile scholarly websites. He is the author of the `student-friendly book` BIOENERGETICS MADE EASY.

O.M. Ighodaro is an eminent member and fellow of several professional bodies, including African Literacy Science Network,  Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB), Society for Experimental Biology of Nigeria (NISEB), Society of Toxicologists (SOT) and Society of Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research. He is also a recipient of many awards including Bill and Melinda Gate Global Health Travelling Award. He is an astute Reviewer and Editorial board member for many journals of international repute. He is a regular speaker in international conferences and workshops.
