Liman Alhaji Goje hails from Buni Yadi town of Gujba local government, Yobe State Northeastern, Nigeria. He attended the University of Maiduguri (Unimaid) where he obtained his Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Pure Mathematics and a professional certificate in Computer Studies. His final year undergraduate thesis was focused on ordinary differential equations and its application to mathematical modeling. He is a member of the Nigerian Mathematical Society.
Liman had a brief stopover at Yobe State University where he served as lecturer in the defunct Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. In his quest to further his education, he proceeded to the University of Greenwich London where he obtained his Master of Science Degree in Information Technology with Security. He later obtained a professional certificate in enterprise architecture from the same University.
He later moved to the Yobe State College of Nursing and Midwifery as a Lecturer and head of I.C.T Department. He lives a life of active and selfless service to humanity. He and his brother Dr Moh’d Goje co-founded MaiGoje_Foundation - a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving humanity especially in the conflict affected region both in science education and humanitarian services.
He has published a numbeer of papers and presented papers and posters at both international and local conferences. He is a member of various societies, including the Nigerian society of information communication technology. Liman is currently pursuing his Ph.D in Health Information System and his area of research is the Technology Behind Health-Care Information System.
