Usman Abba Zanna, alias Papilo, is a journalist and Multimedia Editor working with YERWA EXPRESS NEWS, Maiduguri, Borno state. Zanna is 24 years old and was born in Gwoza local government Area, Borno State, Nigeria. He love reporting on social, economic, and scientific issues in order to promote change and development in Nigeria, particularly in the Northeast.

A 2017 first-class graduate of B.Ed Adult Education/Public Administration he holds a  Masters in Researcher of Community Development, and Social Welfare, and a Diploma in Mass Communication both from the University of Maiduguri. Zanna won the North East Heroes Award 2017, and he`s a fellow of the African Science Literacy Network ASLN 2019, and also a fellow of the National Geographic Photography and Equal Access International. 

I attended Kings Private School for my primary, post-primary and secondary education, in Maiduguri, Borno State.
